minimum basic rate setting on AP

In Extreme Networks Identifi system, minimum basic rate can be configured on radio interface of AP. Network performance can be improved by disabling the lower bit rates, and this is also helpful to improve roaming performance.

If minimum basic rate set as 24 Mbps, then AP will send Beacon with 24Mbps data rate.

But, Even though minimum basic rate configured as 24M bps on AP, this AP will also respond to the authentication request from wireless client which has 1Mbps minimum basic data rate. This is for backward compatibility.
